Hello!  My name is Nan Charleston, and I am excited to be a part of the Holy Spirit family.  More importantly I am THRILLED to be the middle school's science teacher and all grades Makers Space coordinator.

I graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a B.S. in Elementary Education.  Prior to teaching here, I also taught at Chaffee Elementary in Chaffee, MO and St. Philomena's in Honolulu, HI.  Most of my experience comes from 19 years of owning Kid's Academy 1 & 2 and Kid's Academy Tutoring.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family.  My husband's name is Charlie, and I have 3 wonderful children, Billi, Andee, and Graham, and the apple of my eye is my granddaughter Jayden.  My favorite hobbies are playing cards, board games, and tennis and watching Netflix.
