Hello my name is Carolyn Kreitler and I am the Pre-Kindergarten Teacher at Holy Spirit Catholic School. I love to teach this age of children because their minds are like little sponges and can learn all the things they need to begin their Kindergarten year. At this age the children are inquisitive about so many things that they love learning all the things that are taught. From the alphabet to alligators it is very rewarding. The changes the children

make from the beginning of the school year to the last day of school is incredible. 

 

I have been teaching Pre-Kindergarten for 24 years in the St. Louis area. I initiated the start of four Pre-Kindergarten programs. My teaching journey began at St. Mary's and from there I was asked to begin a program at St. Jerome's. I was then asked to come to St. Lawrence the Martyr, where I began a program and as well helped organize the Preschool Program at St. Blaise. After St. Lawrence the Martyr closed I moved the Pre-Kindergarten program to Holy Spirit Catholic School where I have been for 12 years.
