Spirit Zone

Spirit Zone is an extended care program running from 3:00pm until 6:00pm, Monday through Friday. If you have any questions, feel free to use the contact form to contact Mrs. Griffin, our Spirit Zone Coordinator!

Mission Statement

Holy Spirit Catholic School's Spirit Zone is dedicated to providing a safe, caring, and fun environment for students of parents needing extended care between the hours of 3:00pm and 6:00pm.

Location

Spirit Zone is provided by Holy Spirit Catholic School for any students in grades Pre-School through 8th Grade. The students are taken to the main school's gym immediately following the final bell, and are picked up from there. Weather permitting, the students are also taken outside to play games and use sidewalk chalk.

Students will arrive immediately after the final bell. They will be given a school provided snack. We ask students to leave outside snacks at home or in their backpacks due to severe peanut/tree nut allergies.

After having a light snack, students will have time allotted to working on any homework they may have, as well as free play (board games, cards, coloring, crafting, games in the gym). 

​

Electronic devices and toys from home are not permitted during Spirit Zone. Please leave these personal items at home.

Pick Up

Students may be picked up any time before 6:00pm. To pick up your child(ren), please park in the back parking lot. After parking, walk behind the school to the gym doors, ring the doorbell, and sign out your child(ren). If someone other than parents/legal guardians or an individual on the authorized pick up list is picking up, a phone call or note is required in order to release the child(ren).

Spirit Zone Fees

The cost for Spirit Zone is determined by a day-by-day charge.

  • 1st Child  -  $10/day

  • 2nd Child -  $7/day

  • Noon Dismissal days are $15 for first child and $12 for the second.

​

Your monthly bill is due upon receipt through FACTS. If your bill exceeds $200, you may be asked to pay your bill in full before using Spirit Zone again.
